1. Sprinkler Heads: These heads, strategically mounted on pipes throughout the building, automatically release water upon detecting heat, comprising various designs such as pendant, upright, sidewall, and concealed.
2. Pipes: A network of pipes distributes water from the Fire Sprinkler pumps to the sprinkler heads, with proper layout crucial for ensuring efficient coverage.
3. Water Supply: Consistent water supply is vital for effective sprinkler operation, typically connected to a large underground dedicated fire water tank to ensure reliable water flow for at least 2 hours.
4. Valves and Fittings: Control valves regulate water flow, while check valves prevent backflow. Additionally, fittings like elbows and tees facilitate pipe connections and changes in direction.
5.Water Motor Gong (Alarm Valve): An audible gong signals the flow of water through the system, providing an alarm signal to alert occupants.
6. Pressure Gauges and Waterflow Switches: Pressure gauges monitor water pressure to ensure proper maintenance, while waterflow switches detect water flow and activate alarms in case of anomalies.
7. Control Panel: Powers the motors for the Fire Sprinkler Pumps, monitors system status, and displays alarms. It enables manual intervention and communication with other fire safety systems.
Our mission at Elixir is to foster safer environments, fire protection services including sprinkler installation services are one of our efforts to reach that goal. Join us in our endeavour to build a “SURAKSHIT BHARAT.”
